Obituary of Anna Netta L. Frick

Anna Netta L. Frick of State College died April 24, 2021 at Wynwood House State College.

Born February 4, 1926 in Williamsport, Pa., she was the daughter of Robert Lewis and Marguerite Gibson Livingston.

On June 20, 1953 she was married to James V. Frick, who preceded her in death on April 16, 2007.

She graduated from Williamsport High School in 1943 and from Lycoming College in 1949. She received an M.A. in English Literature from the Pennsylvania State University in 1956.

She taught Spanish and English at State College Area High School until her retirement in 1985.

During retirement she was active as a volunteer for the State College Woman's Club and the AAUW Booksale. She travelled extensively in South America and Europe.

She is survived by two sons, James V. Frick III of State College and Robert L. Frick and his wife Karen of Vienna, Va., and three granddaughters, Amy and her husband Jeff Martens, Hannah Frick and Maggie Frick, and one great granddaughter, Madelyn Martens.

She was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church.

A graveside service will take place at the convenience of the family in Pine Hall Cemetery.
