Frank Machi was a “walking Billboard” of a GOOD man, a welcoming neighbor, a faith filled human being whose smile encouraged every one of us who knew him to feel better every time we were in his presence. Though there is no doubt where he is, his passing leaves a hole in the hearts of EVERYONE who knew him. He will be sorely missed. Thank you Kay for sharing him with us these many years. My sincerest sympathy to his entire family

Kay and family,
Frank was not only a great neighbor, but a tireless worker for the Knights of Columbus Council. On Monday nights, he was like the mayor of the bingo hall. Everyone knew him and enjoyed his witty humor and personality. When he was a crossing guard, he would wave to Patti every day on her way past the high school. Two winters ago, he was out with his snow blower clearing the driveways of several neighbors who were away for the week. He always gave selflessly to everyone around him. He will be dearly missed in the neighborhood, and in the Council. Our prayers are with Frank, and your family. God bless!

Dear Mrs. Machi, Mike, John, Frank, Joe, and Families-
I am so sad to read about Mr. Machi's passing. I loved talking with him before Mass on Sundays and seeing him at the 7AM Mass each day. He was always quick to ask me about my teaching, my family, or to talk about the Steelers and the Pirates. He was also so full of love and pride when he talked to me about each of you and your families, children, careers, etc. I loved his sense of humor, too-he always made me laugh! My own two "kids" (now 25 and 23) loved talking to him when he was the crossing guard at the high school, and he would always talk to them at church as well. He was just an all-around wonderful person. Mike, I also remember our carpools to CCD when your dad would take his turn to drive us from Piney Ridge. Those were the days! I hope your memories will bring you comfort. I am thinking about all of you and keeping you in prayer.
Very Sincerely,
Mary (Ricketts) Robert
