I remember Paula helped me in a counseling capacity almost 20 years ago. She was blessed with kindness, compassion, and wisdom. She really made a positive difference in people's lives. Her memory and great example will not be forgotten. May God's love be with her family and may he give them strength during this difficult time.

We are so sorry to hear about Paula. When Matt and I were in State College so many years ago you folks were our local family. Paula was always there to help whenever we needed anything. She was so kind, loving and welcoming. I remember her hosting Sita Maire's baby shower at your house and being around to help after Sita was born. Another wonderful memory was when she invited us to her home in West Virginia and Matt drove one of her Father's trackers in a local parade with Laural throwing candy. Once we left State College she always made the effort to keep us up to date with everyone in the family. We enjoyed following her and Karl's adventures. We were fortunate to see her couple year's ago when we went to Penn State for homecoming and stayed with them.
Matt and I send you our deepest sympathy. We will truly miss her.

We were extremely fortunate to live next door to Paula and Karl for over a decade. Spirited, cheerful, smart, generous, and a loving open heart. She loved her gardens and flowers, often seen outside in the morning in her nightgown tending to them for a few minutes or cutting a few flowers. She was lovely and enjoyed our children, appreciating the noise they brought to her backyard and pool on a daily basis. Paula (and Karl of course) was a great support to me when times were difficult for me. I am greatly saddened by her passing. I wish Karl, Laurel, John much peace and love, knowing that they mourn a special person--a vibrant soul with a warm heart who offered much and bettered the lives of those around her.
