Obituary of Carole Dudis

It is with profound sadness that the family of Carole Dudis announces her passing on June 13, 2021 at Mount Nittany Medical Center surrounded by her adoring children, Len, Michael and Holly.  Carole Steslow was born December 26, 1948 in Shenandoah, PA to Joseph and Stella.  Carole married Leonard “Lenny” Dudis, on April 25, 1970 at St. Casimir Catholic Church in Shenandoah, who preceded her in death after 45 years of marriage.

Carole was a graduate of Shenandoah Catholic High School. She was a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in State College and employed there for several years before becoming a medical secretary for Dr. Wayne Sebastianelli at Penn State Sports Medicine.

Carole was a devoted Grandma of Lindsay, Charlotte, Maxwell, Leo and Tyler, each of whom benefited from her most patient play, thoughtful gifts and loving embraces.

She also leaves behind Len’s wife, Karen, Michael’s wife, Sasha, and Holly’s husband, Joseph, who will all miss regaling tales of Carole’s life and receiving the latest QVC fad in the mail.

She is also survived by her sisters Barbara DiCello and husband Sonny and Janet Edwards and husband Chris, numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and loving friends.

Her family takes solace in knowing Carole is in the embrace of her Heavenly Father.

A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 am, June 16, 2021, at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, 820 Westerly Pkwy, State College, with Father George Jakopac officiating.
