Bob Glatz was a great man. I met him in the early 1980s when he became the Office Managing Partner for Deloitte’s Baltimore office. Right away, he expanded my professional focus to extend beyond complex accounting and auditing matters to include professional and community service. With Bob’s help, and the coaching and support of other great Baltimore partners including Dick Ruggieri, Warren Reed, and Bill Kuntz, I developed the skill set to achieve my goal of becoming a Deloitte partner. I will always be grateful. Rest in peace, Bob.
