Gloria was a wonderful neighbor. She encouraged my daughter Elizabeth in art. She enjoyed our son Todd’s antics. We were sad when she and Riggs left for Florida. I’m glad to know she pursued her art.

It has been a pleasure and privilege to know Gloria and to work with her as an artist on the registry of the Bellefonte Art Museum for Centre County. Gloria was a very accomplished artist and showed her talent and skills in the creation of beautiful, compelling paintings including landscapes and scenes depicting moments in people in lives.
Gloria was a vital part of the museum and supported the staff and programs in many ways. She played the key role in opening a satellite gallery at the Village at Penn State, a local retirement community. This important gallery brings shows of art work done by local artists to the Village.
I find it difficult to believe she has left us. I will miss her so very much and send deepest sympathy to Gloria’s husband, Riggs and to her children and grandchildren. With admiration, Patricia House, Executive Director, Bellefonte Art Museum for Centre County.
