It truly was a privilege to get to know Grace when I went into Juniper for do Music Therapy sessions. She always met me with a smile that lit up the room and was eager to help me with my equipment. Her zest for life was so apparent and I got to know her long after all her myriad accomplishments. It was not about what she could do- it was about who she was as a person of faith and vitality. She really touched my life as I watched her navigate the unknown path of aging and adjusting to her new norm. Her faith was bedrock and she was a light, not hidden under a bushel.
I truly was blessed to cross paths with such a wonderful woman. Blessings to all your family. Judy Sherwood

Class of '85 student of Mrs. Ormston. Loved their meticulous farm and also really enjoyed having her as my teacher. Top notch. My sympathies to her family and friends.

I Was a 1983 St. John's High School graduate. Mrs. Ormston was my favorite teacher all throughout high school and overall favorite teacher ever. I was bullied a lot because I was shy and she always made me feel important. I learned a lot from her. Not just home economics...but house and home furnishings and child development too. Her smile made me smile. I loved her as a mentor and have really fond class memories

So sorry Lisa, Lori and family for you loss. I was just thinking about her yesterday and remembering all the lunch swims we used to enjoy. She was what I would call a “Lady”! I was blessed to call her a friend and colleague. She impacted so many students in a very positive way during her career.

My condolences to the Ormston family. I have fond memories of Mrs Ormston as my home economics teacher in junior high. She was a lovely soul and helped show us how to cook and sew. - Sue Ann (Suchek) Olson
