Obituary of Robert K. Ellis

Robert K. "Bobby" Ellis, 65, of State College, died Thursday, July 29, 2021, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

Born December 23, 1955, in Bellefonte, he was the son of the late Edgar T. and Patricia J. DeVeny Ellis, Jr.

He is survived by one brother, Ronald T. Ellis and his friend, Irene Miller, of Jersey Shore; one cousin, Dave Ellis; one niece, Crystal Fairfield; friends of his for over 40 years, Susan Morschbacher and Lynn Davy. He is also survived by his two Labrador retrievers, PJ and Katie Ann. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Stephen K. Ellis on April 24. 2007.

Bobby was a 1974 graduate of State College High School. He was employed as a caregiver.

He was of the Lutheran faith. Bobby was a member of the NRA, the Liberty Township and Port Matilda Sportsman Club and the PIAA. He umpired baseball and softball. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and gun collector.

There will be no services.
