Obituary of Dorothy Lou Lauck

Dorothy Lou Lauck, 91, of Pine Grove Mills, died Saturday, September 25, 2021, at home.

Born May 18, 1930, in Lemont, she was the daughter of the late William I. and the late Marie C. Woomer Rishel. In Pine Grove Mills on July 28, 1951, she married Robert H. Lauck, who survives.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by four children, Linda L. Meek and her husband Edward of State College, Cynthia J. Rockey and her husband Donald of Pine Grove Mills, Kathleen L. Ruffner and her husband Mark of Sabastian, FL, and Kimberly L. French and her husband Samuel of Ijamsville, MD; her sister-in-law, Anna Jane Rishel; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.

Dorothy attended State College Area High School. She retired from the department of Psychology at Penn State in June 1983.

She was a member of Pine Grove Mills Presbyterian Church, as well as V.F.W. Aux Post 5825, Pine Grove Mills.

There will be a private graveside service at the convenience of the family.

Burial will be in Pine Grove Mills Cemetery.
