Obituary of Laurie Beth Garion
Laurie Beth Garion, 64, of State College, died Tuesday, September 28, 2021, at home.
Born December 24, 1956, in Amsterdam, NY, she was the daughter of Harley F. and the late Jeane Irene Cool Angus.
In addition to her father, Laurie is survived by three sons, Ryan Malatino of Spokane, WA, Hil Malatino of Pine Grove Mills, and Drew Garion of Lock Haven. She was preceded in death by her husband Steve Garion, and her long-time partner Ronald Spencer.
Laurie worked as a corporate recruiter in healthcare and, in the last few years, worked for Wegman's in State College.
She was a lifelong student of Buddhism, an avid family genealogist, and loved bicycling and the natural world.
