Doug and family I was so sorry to see this. I thoroughly enjoyed spending time with Kathy through the years at family reunions. She was always such a joy to be around. Please let us know if there is anything you need.
Classmates at St. John’s I always admired Kathie. I’m glad we were able to catch up several years ago at a luncheon at the Summit Inn with a group of women who had also attended St. John’s. She made sure each and every one of us was able to share our story, and she was a delight to be with. I will remember her for her kindness and strength. My sympathy to her family. May she Rest In Peace.
I knew Kathy through the teaching profession. I loved her sense of humor and found her to be a kind, thoughtful , and intelligent woman. the world has lost a friend.

My condolences to Mrs. Powell’s family. I grew up in McAlevy’s fort. Mrs Powell was my kindergarten teacher. She was a sweet, kind and a gentle lady. I have many fond memories of her class. I, also, am a teacher with 23 years experience. I know now that Mrs. Powell was one of the first heroes that ever touched my life. May she rest in peace.
