Bud and a Helen Volz were two of my dearest friends when I lived in State College. They both served as Pastoral Care Volunteers at Mount Nittany Medical Canter when I was director. My wife and I sang quartets with them at the Methodist Church in Centre Hall. He was a consummate audiophile. He was one of the gentlest male spirits I have ever met. Bud, my memories of you bring me comfort. Say hello to Helen for me

I knew Carl and Helen from Grace United Methodist Church in Centre Hall. They were wonderful people and I loved hearing Carl playing his violin which he did for my wedding as well as in church. Sympathies to the family and his kindness and music will always be in my memories !
