Jim was a longtime forestry professor, PA forest advocate, and all-around great guy. Even as great as his forestry work was, it was foreshadowed by how great of a human he was. Jim was a busy man but remained so generous with his time with friends and strangers alike. He consistently shared his love and faith in people through his actions. I am one of the many fortunate enough to be mentored by Jim. Please keep the Finley family and Jim’s 1000’s of friends in your thoughts and prayers as we all try to navigate this world without his presence and guidance.
