Barbara had been my friend for over 30 years through our shared love of singing. I sang with her in the Reno Catholic Diocesan Choir, the Reno Exchange jazz group, and the Reno Philharmonic Chorus. She was one of the most genuine, loving, kind human beings I’ve ever known. We had so many great rehearsals, performances, laughs, and sharing of stories together, and I just can’t quite believe she’s gone. The world is a darker place without her in it. My deepest sympathies go to her family and friends on the east coast. Know she is greatly missed here in the west.
