To The Family,
Jean Forster was a force of nature; a wonderful, kind, outgoing, exceptional woman. She and Kent were good friends of my parents, Isabel and Tom. She was also a good friend to me. Among other warm recollections, I have special memories of lively dinners together at The Tavern with my family and later with just me when I returned to State College from Denver for high school reunions. We were last together at my 55th in 2016 and I was looking forward to our next visit...
My heart goes out to each of you for the loss of your beloved mother/grandmother/great grandmother. She lived a generous, thoughtful, energetic, loving life and will be missed by many.

I met Jean when my daughter Susan attended the International Preschool with Elise. Her warmth and kindness were evident. She was much older than I, having had Elise when I think she said age 44. She visited me soon after our son David was born and brought a lovely bouquet of forsythia. My mother had traveled from Colorado and was there the afternoon Jean came by. Mother remarked that Jean was “Such a lovely woman”. Jean was genuine, regal, caring and an excellent listener. I feel privileged to have known your mother just as I am certain all who knew her do.
Sending condolences along with many prayers to all of you,
Ann and Gary Kochenberger

I met Jean through my mom at Foxdale when I became part of the Thursday breakfast group. We had lovely breakfasts; sometimes singing, talking about travels, jokes, and someone was always Googling something. I missed meeting with Jean and the others when things were shut down.
She was a lovely person. I'm so sorry for your loss.
