Obituary of Helen Louise Reed

Helen Louise Fox Reed, October 31, 1928 – November 4, 2021 joined her Lord and Savior on Thursday at Juniper Village. Helen was born in Eriton, PA the daughter of Frank Fox and Jessie Nutt Burns Fox. On February 18, 1950 she married Ray Reed who passed August 30,2005.

Helen is survived by her children and their spouses: Linda Swasy (Jack), Ray H. Reed (Donna), Clayton B. Reed (Billie), and Jessie Reed. Helen is survived by her grandchildren and their spouses: Christina (deceased) and Jeff Lutsko, Ray H. Reed Jr., Jamie Reed, Clayton Jr. Reed (Rebecca), William Reed(Dana), Doug Eckess, Scott Eckess (Maria), and great grandchildren Derric, Faith, Hope, Grace, Noak and Alec Lutsko; Landon Reed, Carter and Ava Baker; Timmy, Raylene, and Amanda Reed; Luke and Ryan Reed; Kaleb, Kael, Jacob and Kristian Eckess. She is also survived by sisters Mona Shepler and Lois Webster.

She was a member of the Gideons International and the State College Assembly of God.

Friends will be received from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m., on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at Koch Funeral Home, 2401 S. Atherton St., State College. The funeral will follow at 12 p.m., at the funeral home, with Pastor Dave Spaugh officiating. Entombment will be at the Chapel Mausoleum at Centre County Memorial Park, State College.
