Dear Moore Family:
My deepest condolences for the loss of Lou. A kind and genuine man.
A quick, memory....for several decades, beginning when I came to Penn State in 1981,I had a locker near Lou's in Rec Hall. As we both exercised regularly, I usually ran into him several times a week. As he meticulously recorded his workout results on a sheet he posted in his locker, I would ask about his times, how close he was to making the US Olympic team or things like that.....so we often had laughs together. So when I think of Lou, I think of those laughs we shared---usually with both of us stark naked. I am sure Lou would appreciate that memory.
