My father probably could have been a rich man. He had a brilliant scientific mind, coupled with a keen business sense. He invented things and sold them. But he was always a lot more interested in giving to others and so little concerned with enriching himself. He gave so much to the poor, the community, the school, and his family. As a result he was an incredibly rich and loved man. I miss him dearly, to the core of my being, and I always will, but knowing all the good he did and the life he lived, I'm consoled in my loss by knowing that he lived a great life.
