So many memories of our beloved (Great)Aunt Lucille....picnics in the backyard at 528 W. Beaver, Thanksgiving dinners there as well with Lucille and Betty (her sister/our mother) overseeing the kitchen, her "mentorship" of me (Kathy) at G.C. Murphy's my junior year at PSU, walking down the alleyway in Dickson City arm-in-arm ala Dorothy, Scarecrow, Tin Man, and the Cowardly Lion, while singing with us during a visit to our Grandpa Anesko, her many, many kindnesses during our mother's difficult years, her ready laughter, her self-deprecating humor, and, always her twinkling blue eyes. Always in our hearts, niece and nephew, Kathy and Michael, grand-nephew, Zachary, and Dwight

Dear Family. As a child I grew up on McAllister Street in State College. At that time, there were no apartment buildings. There were family homes up and down Beaver Ave and also on the side streets. Downtown State College was our playground until the streetlights came on in the evening. I remember Lucille fondly as an employee of Murphy’s. We’re were constantly in that store, just running through or buying gum balls from the gum all machine. Your mother, grandmother was always so patient with us. I’m sure we annoyed those employee who never scolded us. This is a fond memory for me and seeing her face brings back the good old days. I’m sure you have loads of fond memories. Know that she is remembered. I’m sorry for your loss.
Stefany Bubash Giner.
