Obituary of Helen Ann Fraundorfer Delricco

Helen Ann Fraundorfer Delricco, 83, died at her home on Monday, December 13, 2021 of natural causes.

Helen was born February 25, 1938, in Altoona, PA to Karl and Theresa Fraundorfer. She married Peter Delricco on August 26, 1960. She is survived by her husband; her daughter, Beth Delricco (Ron) and their two sons, Daniel and Andrew; her son, Mark Delricco (Nancy), and their two sons, Vince and Matt.

Helen grew up in Altoona and graduated from Altoona High School in 1956. She spoke very often and fondly of her childhood and the fun she had with her two brothers, Tony and Carly, who preceded her in death, and her five nieces and five nephews. One of her favorite activities was dancing, and it was while attending a high school dance that she met her husband, Pete. They were blessed with 61 years together.

Helen loved to have fun and was always up for trying anything once. She had many dear friends and loved traveling, shoes, and jewelry. Her favorite time of the year was autumn, and she especially loved everything about Halloween and shared that enthusiasm with her kids and grandkids.

Helen had a big impact on many people's lives. She was an amazing daughter, wife, mother, aunt, friend, and Gram – her favorite role. Anyone who knew Helen knew that the pride and joy of her life was her four grandsons.

A visitation to celebrate the life of Helen will be from 4 until 6 p.m. on Saturday, October 8, 2022 at Koch Funeral Home, 2401 South Atherton Street, State College.
