My heartfelt condolences to Bob Jr., Laura, and family. I have been away from the area for some time, however my roots are here, and, those roots were certainly nurtured and firmly grounded by friends like Bob, and Harriet. Those fond memories will always remain with me. I shall never forget numerous Oregon Hill ski school line ups on frigid Saturday mornings, followed by evenings, thawing out, self-medicating ;-) in the shelter of the Hostettor’s cozy camper parked below the T-bar lift.
I also had the pleasure of working under Bob at IFR, ostensibly collecting traffic research data, sampling his poetry and nuggets of lifes’ lessons learned. Thank you Bob.
To Bob Jr. and Laura, your folks were the right kind of people. Our world could use a lot more like them.
