Obituary of Guy Fleck

Guy E. Fleck, 82, of State College, died Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at Mount Nittany Medical Center, State College. Born February 18, 1929 in Altoona, he was the son of the late Guy C. and Gertrude H. Noel Fleck. He married Elsie Ewing on August 18, 1951, who survives. He is survived by two children, Gwendolyn H. Rockey and her husband , John, of Bellefonte, Jennifer L. Foreman and her husband, Michael, of Spring Mills, two sisters, Ethel Grove, of York, Rose Kyper and her husband, Roy, of Petersburg, one grandson, Shawn Michael Foreman and several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by three brothers, Carl, Chauncey and Ronald Fleck. As a life long farmer, Guy always took great pride in his dairy cattle and his land, the upkeep of his farming equipment and the straightness of the rows in his fields. Guy was a member of the Centre County Farm Bureau. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, January 20, 2012 at Koch Funeral Home, 2401 S. Atherton St., State College. Funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 21, 2012 at the funeral home with the Rev. Gene W. McCallips officiating. Burial will be in Mooresville Cemetery.
