I'm so sorry I couldn't make it there for her service but I wanted to tell everyone how sorry I am. I absolutely loved my grandma Mary and she was an amazing woman. She was a light in my life and I was so blessed to know her. She didn't have to love me and accept me because I was her step-grandchild, but she did. She treated me as her own and loved me fiercely and I loved her so much in return. She always played with me no matter how much it annoyed her! We spent hours playing war and solitaire. She had a beautiful porcelain doll collection and we played dolls all the time. I used to love to sit next to her on the couch and she would tickle my arm until I fell asleep. We loved to play in her beauty shop downstairs and she enjoyed a lively game of ping pong. I remember she had a group of friends and they would come over once a week for her pinochle parties! We spent many summers in the camper at Glacier Bible Camp and made the best memories. She took me on my first trip to California and I got to see Hollywood and Yosemite National Park. She always made my favorite meal... beanie weenies! She was hilarious and always the one to be pulling a prank. She was beautiful and always did her hair and makeup first thing in the morning before anyone could see her. She loved her family with her whole heart and she leaves behind a hole our hearts but we know she is resting now with our Lord and Savior. She was faithful, wise, funny, kind, and most of all the best mother and grandmother we could ask for and I know that is what she would want her legacy to be. Rest easy Grandma and know you were very very loved and will be very missed.
