Obituary of Michele Alayne Pelick
Michele Alayne Pelick, 57, of Bellefonte, died on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at home.
Born December 2, 1964, in Bremerton, WA, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Joseph and Dorothy Mae Matrisian Pelick.
She is survived by one brother, Joseph Thomas Pelick, of State College.
She was a 1982 graduate of State College Area High School. Michele received a bachelors degree in Marketing from Penn State University in 1986.
She retired in 2007 after ten years of employment as an Operation Analysist in Corporate Retail for Williams-Sonoma, LLC.
Michele was a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church.
She, like her mother, enjoyed crafts, creative designs, and would paint or put gems and glitter on anything that needed more sparkle.
Michele planned and coordinated neighborhood summer picnics that brought everyone together. Her love, caring, and compassion for others will be missed. She raised two cats from kittens, and her ability to love was very apparent.
Visitation will be from 5 until 7 p.m., on Thursday, February 17, 2022 at Koch Funeral Home, 2401 South Atherton Street, State College.
Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m., on Friday, February 18, 2022 at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, 820 Westerly Parkway, State College, with Father George Jakopac officiating.
Burial will be in Pine Hall Cemetery.
In honor of Michele's love for cats, memorial contributions may be made to Pets Come First, 2451 General Potter Hwy, Centre Hall, PA 16828 or to Pine Hall Cemetery, where Michele will be laid to rest, in care of Ron Strouse, 3346 Pamela Circle, State College, PA 16801.
