I am saddened to learn of Bob’s passing. Bob, along with Sam Levine in Nuclear Engineering, were my co-advisors for both the MS and PhD degrees. I still have fond memories of his warmth and good nature at our first meeting in June 1972 - and every other interaction with him during my time at Penn State. He was a wonderful mentor and a delightful person.
