Obituary of Maureen Mary Sullivan

Maureen, 84, passed away at her home on May 18, 2022 while under the loving care of dear friends. Known as "Mo" to her close friends, she was born in London, England and as a child was relocated along with her siblings to the English countryside for protection from the bombing of London during World War II. As a young woman, Mo travelled to North Carolina in search of a new life in the United States. While there she met her husband and gave birth to her son, William. Maureen later made her way with her son to Florida. She had a highly successful career in property management in Jacksonville, Florida for many years. This led her into real estate sales in South Florida. Upon her remarriage she ultimately moved to State College, PA. Her latest career was managing Dr. Grieco's dental practice for 25 years.

Maureen's life experiences introduced her to many lifelong friends and admirers. She has been a strong, positive influence on the lives of so many. Her strength and resolve has been a marvel to all as she fought her devastating battle with cancer while skillfully managing her life and career. To her friends she was known as a stylish, beautiful woman with incredible cooking and gardening skills, not to mention her wicked sense of humor. That was Mo! Her many friends and family who love her will miss her greatly! Cheers, Mo!

Maureen was predeceased by her immediate English family but is survived by her son, William (Bill) Harmon of West Palm Beach, Florida.
