I worked with Barry at the U.S. Sentencing Commission in 1995-96. He was there on assignment as a Supreme Court Fellow. He was intelligent, articulate, a great conversationalist and as kind a man as I've ever encountered. I am very sorry to learn of his passing and extend my deepest condolences to his wife, daughter, and extended family. Thomas Brown Scranton, Pa.
