Obituary of Christine Williams

Christine E. Williams, 63, of State College, died Saturday, February 4, 2012, at the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. Born July 8, 1948, in Albany, Ga., she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Marylyn Kawalek. On July 15, 1971, she married Daniel R. Williams, who survives. She is also survived by two children, Patrick J. Poss and his wife, Wendy, of McLeansville,NC and Katherine A. Hazel of State College. She is also survived by her brother, Daniel Turner and his wife, Linda, of St. Cloud, Florida, four grandchildren, Stefanie, Steven, Samantha, and Shaun and three great-grandchildren, Daniel, Dakota and Chelsea. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a sister, Annie Perry. She was a graduate of South Hills Business School. Christine was involved in Civil War reinactment. Visitation will be from 6-8 pm at Koch Funeral Home, 2401 S. Atherton Street, State College on Tuesday, February 7, 2012. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at 11 am at the funeral home with the Rev. Dr. G. Edwin Zeiders officiating. Burial will be in Pine Hall Cemetery.
