Obituary of Ahmed Amin Mohamed
Ahmed Amin "Marco" Mohamed, 66, of State College, died peacefully surrounded by his family on Saturday, July 30th, 2022, at Canterbury Place in Lawrenceville, PA.
Born November 27th, 1955, in Cairo, Egypt, he was the son of the late Amin Mohamed Hassan and Hanem Awadallah Hassan. On March 30th, 1989 he married Stella Gianfelice, who survives.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Amanda Mohamed of State College; three sisters, Reda, Nadia, and Safaa of Cairo, Egypt, a brother, Samir, of New Jersey; and various nieces and nephews.
He spent his youth working in film production and as a restaurant owner.
Ahmed shared a deep bond with his wife and daughter that will last forever.
His love for his family shined through in everything he did. He loved spending time gathering with friends and cooking meals for them. Ahmed will be missed but never forgotten.
Per Ahmed's wishes, he was buried directly at Saint John the Evangelist Catholic Cemetery in Bellefonte.
