Dear Cathy, Dede, and Claudia and family -
I am shocked and saddened to see your mom's obituary today. I knew she had been slowly declining, but I had no idea her passing would happen so quickly. Whenever I went up to visit my mom, I would always stop to chat with yours, either in her room (across the hall) or at the Nurse's station. It always amazed me that she recognized me and remembered my name (maiden, of course). It was only recently that she could not say my name. She was forever cheerful and positive in all things, simply a joy to know. Your mom was one of the best, ...one of my role models on how to be a super mom.
