Obituary of Bonnie Kay Mulauski
Bonnie Kay (Scott) Mulauski, 77 of Pennsylvania Furnace, PA died August 23, 2022 peacefully at her home.
She was born September 27, 1944 at the hospital in Bellefonte, PA. She was a daughter of the late Frank Boyer and Virginia Scott. On April 8, 1967, she married the love of her life, Michael R. Mulauski, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Bellefonte, PA.
She was a 1962 graduate of the State College Area High School. Bonnie was very active keeping the data base for the State College Alumni Society up to date. It was while working for Oral Surgeon, Dr. Thomas Nardozzo, in State College PA that she met Mike. He lost three wisdom teeth and gained a beautiful wife.
Around September 1979, she babysat in her home for a neighbor. This soon led to more children coming to stay with Miss Bonnie. She made sure they learned their colors, letters and numbers. She loved children very much. She retired after 25 years and 55 children later. She kept in touch with many of them and watched them progress in life.
She is survived by a son, Robert Michael Mulauski (Rob) and his wife Melissa Stephenson of Apex North Carolina, grandchildren Alexander Michael (Alex) and Audrey Marie. She is also survived by her sister Renie Morrison and brother Frank B. Scott III, both of State College, PA.
Also surviving are nephews Scott of Parkville, MD, Jeff of Bethlehem, PA, Frank IV and Jennifer Strouse of State College, PA.
Arrangements are under the care of Koch Funeral Home, 2401 S. Atherton Street, State College, PA 16801. Visitation hours are Thursday evening from 5 to 7pm.
