Sue and family -
What fond memories I have of Ham (never knew him as anything else) and his brother Snook. Their laughter reminded me of my own dad (Jack Hosterman). Ham was always cheerful and friendly and I always enjoyed running into him when I was hanging out with dad whether it was at the fair or at work. May all the wonderful memories give you some comfort during the difficult times ahead.
With love,
Barb (Hosterman) Porter

I am so sorry to hear of Ham's passing. He was such a bright spot when he was postmaster. I kept a mailbox for several years after moving away from PGM and it was such a joy to stop in every now and then to check the mail and get harassed and picked on by Ham. He was a huge help when I had issues with the mail delivery in my new town. He will never be forgotten and I will always remember him with a smile. He was one of the great ones!

Ham and family were our ‘across the street’ neighbors many, many years ago. He was unfailingly kind, had a wonderful sense of humor, and was a neighborhood favorite among our kids. It’s been a long time since I last saw him, but my fond memories of him have never faded. I feel fortunate to have known him. My sincere condolences.

Ham was a dear to work with at the post office. He kept us laughing and was always supportive of us youngsters that were there starting our life as employees. He will be remembered in our hearts and will be missed so much. Rest in peace dear friend. Hugs to his family.
