Obituary of Jeanne M. Williams

Jeanne M. Williams, 72, of Boalsburg passed away on December 9, 2022 at her residence.

Born March 30, 1950 in Bellefonte, she was the daughter of the late James B. Mattern and Margaret McClintic.

She is survived by her daughter, Sheila Reed, of Jersey Shore, PA; four grandchildren, Jesse and Victoria Byers, Ashley and Marty Rockey; two great grandchildren, Aurora and Freja; two sisters, Linda Mattern of Tucson, AZ and Betsy Moon of Conroe, TX.; and a brother, Jan Mattern of Ridgecrest CA.

Jeanne graduated from State College Area High School in 1968. She worked as a cashier in Hills Department Store, in food service for the State College school district and at Meyer's Dairy.

In her free time, she enjoyed playing bingo, baking and being creative with sewing, craft projects and floral arranging. Jeanne loved being outdoors especially hunting and fishing. Many great stories were shared from her outdoor adventures.

A Memorial service will be held at a future date.
