I was so sorry to hear of Ben's passing, and wish to send my heartfelt condolences to the family. Ben was a great guy and a great friend back at Mobil. We spent a lot of time on the Delaware River, and also on the little rivers of the Jersey Pine Barrens. He will be missed.

Ben was a fine man. He had a big heart for people and had so much to give. Viktor enjoyed many conversations with him at the gym; he said Ben always had some wisdom to impart, was patient with others, and never spoke disrespectfully of anyone, even those who displayed rudeness or arrogance. He will be missed by many !

Ben was the perfect person to be stranded on an island with! He could figure out a problem and bring it to a great solution! Ben helped Nick and I with our craftsman cottage! He never said he was too busy to help! We enjoyed our close friendship with Ben and Fran! Heather and her children brought so much happiness to the Macfarlane home! Never forget the homemade doll house or rabbit hutch! If ever I had a bird question he’d explain it in detail! Ben, you lived the Christian friend life so well! Jesus loved you and you are with Him! We will never forget you!

So very sorry to see that Ben has left us. He was so entertaining to visit with!! He was my Uncle by marriage to my Mother's younger sister. I know he will be missed by many.
