Obituary of Eleanor Marie Kate Fetterman
Eleanor Marie Kate Fetterman, 88, of State College, died Sunday, January 29, 2023, at Juniper Village at Brookline.
Born April 15, 1934, in Circleville, she was the daughter of the late Patrick Joseph and Marie Miona Donahue. On June 17,1949 she married Paul Allen Fetterman, who preceded her in death on December 1, 2019.
She is survived by four children, Sheridan Fetterman and his wife Toni of State College, Victoria Weston and her husband Royal of Julian, Michael Fetterman and his wife Roxanne of Julian, and Jeff Fetterman and his wife Susan of Pine Grove Mills; a sister, Mildred Flory of State College; eight grandchildren, Ryan Weston and his wife Melody, Troy Weston and his wife Melissa, Matthew Fetterman, Duane Fetterman and his wife Anne, Alexander and his wife Yayee, and Katherine Fetterman and her fiancé Frank Casertano, Jesse Fetterman and his wife Sherry, Jared Sell(Fetterman) and five great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, Eleanor was preceded in death by two sons, Gerald and Steven Fetterman, three sisters, Luella Nieman(Griffin), Violet Davis(Hines), and Winifred Burns(Donahue), two brothers, William Donahue and Leroy Hines, and a great-granddaughter, Violet.
Eleanor earned her GED in 1979 and received a certificate in Therapeutic Recreation from Penn State in 1981.
She attended the State College Seventh-Day Adventist Church.
Visitation will be Friday, February 3, 2023 from 11am to 12pm at Koch Funeral Home, 2401 S. Atherton Street, State College, PA.
Funeral will follow the visitation at 12pm at Koch Funeral Home with the Reverend Melody Weston officiating.
A private burial will take place at Pine Hall Cemetery.
