Many years ago I worked for Janet and Bud at the motel in Wildwood Crest. I was short tuition money when it was due and had no one to ask. They generously fronted me the money so I wouldn’t have to sit out a semester. I have never forgotten it and have spent my adult life trying to pay it forward. I also have fond memories of babysitting for Andy and Robby as well as walking Sultan and Cognac. In addition they graciously opened their home to me for my wedding party pictures. Unfortunately, they missed the wedding because Robby broke an arm and had to go to the hospital.

So sorry to hear about your Mom. I know she was a super fan for you guys and Manheim Township. Her support and love for the game was much appreciated. Tottenham is even playing well this season. Peace and grace to all her boys and their families.

I remember being with Janet and Robbie at Aunt Cora’s house in Cape May. Janet took me on a motorcycle ride once, up and over the bridge, I will never forget it, but what I remember the most was her beautiful smile. Please accept my sincere condolences.

I will always fondly remember ‘Aunt Janet’ by the memories she shared of growing up and of relatives and friends. I especially enjoyed the ‘motel’ stories and how proud she was of her beachside retreat. Her face lit up when talking about her beloved husband, her boys and grandsons. She went into great detail about where her sons were and what they were doing with their lives, always with loving pride. My favorite memory was when my husband, youngest daughter, Rebekah and I went to visit her when Bekah was about ten years old. Mike and I could hear Bekah wake up in the morning and go to the kitchen where she and Aunt Janet would talk about anything and everything! They loved their morning chats and we thought it was so sweet. They were two ‘peas in a pod’. We loved our dear Aunt Janet and enjoyed talking with her. She will be missed greatly.❤️ God bless you boys.
