I learned late of Dr. Parry's passing. He was an exceptional doctor. He took care of my daughter for years and he was the first doctor EVER to actually listen to and consider my daughter 's symptoms. My daughter was the last patient Dr Parry saw before his stroke. He turned on her VNS the day after her surgery. Dr Parry was a kind and compassionate man and he will surely see the face of GOD.

I met Dr. Parry with my mother, who was his patient for about five years. He was ever so thoughtful and kind to her, and her dementia did not prevent her from enjoying his subtle and gentle humor with her. She called him "Dr. Sevens" for the method he used, the method typically employed with dementia patients. His smile was kind and compassionate, and I deeply appreciated that he would sit with her, look her in her eyes, and relate to her as a human being. I wanted to thank the family for sharing him with his many patients and their families. He brought great delight to my mother and me during her visits.

Kevin was one of the all time greatest swim parents. Park Forest Bullfrogs, YMCA, State High, we had many joyful swim team years and Kevin and the Parry family were central to everything. Including parent and kids swim parties at the Parry residence. Kevin was often quiet but also funny, witty, sincere, super-knowledgeable and always rewarding to talk with about swimming and just about anything else. We were very saddened to hear about Kevin's passing. But he clearly had a wonderful life full of much love and every other meaningful measure of success.

This man was the best. There was some time involved to diagnosis but he did it and was spot on. And....I was, of course, a little scared of my future but he managed to calm my nerves and point me in the right direction. He was very much missed when he left his practice but I thought of him often since. I hope that good memories will help heal your hearts. He was truly a very good and caring person.

Dr. Parry was my daughter's neurologist. He was one of the most helpful, caring, and sincere doctors I have come across. He was a perfect listener for my daughter and helped her through a rough period. We missed him so much when he had to retire. We are thankful that he was there for us when we needed someone to listen and help. Our heart goes out to you. D. Gabriel
