Aunt Shirley “Curly”, The Young and the Restless, Little House on the Prairie, Gunsmoke, a few our favorite shows to watch together. Thank you for introducing me to Finding Forrester, one of my now favorite movies, on a snowy day at your house last winter. Our beauty days at your house, and doing The NY Times crossword puzzle while your high lights processed, and I won’t tell that you occasionally pulled out your laptop when we got stumped. I’ll miss your calming sweet voice telling stories the way only you could, your contagious laugh and dry wit, which always reminded me of my Dad. May your highlights forever be white, and never brassy, your bangs never in your eyes, and your pizza crust thin and crispy, and no one ever call you “Shirl”. Go rest high, and Run, run like the wind

I will always cherish our special times together at your house. You welcomed me to your home any time and I will forever be grateful to both you and Jim. I’ll miss our many long talks about any and everything, ordering out and watching law and order and all of the other shows we enjoyed, as well as Penn State football.
