Obituary of Nancy Lee Robbins

Nancy Lee Robbins, 78, of State College, passed away on August 4, 2023, at Mount Nittany Medical Center. Born on May 9, 1945, in Elkton, MD, she was the daughter of the late Brady L. and Doris J. Entz Brown. She is survived by a brother, Brady Lon Brown, of Trout Run, PA; niece, Kimberly Hoffman of Trout Run; a nephew, Brady Brown of Montoursville; grand-nieces, Natalie Hoffman and Blair Brown and grand-nephews, Corbin Brown, Owen Hoffman, and Jace Hoffman. Nancy was a 1963 graduate of South Williamsport High School. She received a BA degree from Lycoming College, an MA from SUNY Albany, an EdS from University of Northern Iowa and a PhD from University of Nebraska. For twenty years, Nancy was the Executive Director of Central Intermediate Unit 10 before her retirement in 2006. Prior to that she had been employed by St Paul Public Schools, North Colonie NY Public, Cedar Falls IA Public, Iowa School for the Deaf, and Cora Services for Northeast Philadelphia. She was a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, where she taught Catholic Scripture Studies for many years. She was president of Galen Grove Condo Association and served on the Advisory Board of Centre County Republicans. Memorial Service will be held at 10 a.m., on Thursday, August 10,2023, at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, 820 Westerly Parkway, State College, with Father George Jakopac officiating.
