Obituary of Jeanette Lee Condo
Jeanette Lee Condo, 51, of State College, passed away on Monday, September 18, 2023, at home surrounded by her loving family.
Born September 17, 1972, in Oxford, England she was the daughter of Gene and Sandra Wilkins Robertson. On June 2, 2012 she married Dustin R. Brackbill, who survives.
In addition to her parents and husband, she is survived by her son, Mason Condo of State College; step-son, Isaac Brackbill of State College; sister, Amanda Kosco and her husband, Michael, of Fredericksburg, VA and niece, Rhylie Kosco, as well as her grandmother Mildred Altland of Hanover, PA. Her circles of family and friends near and far also share in their grief.
She was a 1990 graduate of Gwinn High School, Gwinn, MI and a 1996 graduate of Penn State University, earning Bachelor of Science degrees in both German & Business.
Jeanette remained in State College working for her alma mater as an IT Manager in the Smeal College of Business. She also worked at PSU World Campus and other positions within the University totaling over 24 years. She participated in various leadership groups and trainings over the years, as well as taking graduate classes to further her skills.
Jeanette was an experienced, intelligent and kind mentor and coworker. She had an innate compassion for those in need. Jeanette was passionate about cooking, especially for those she loved. She enjoyed traveling to beaches and towns, and exploring new things. She would make big dreams, then plan and research to meet her goals. Her infectious laughter, warm smile, and inherent kindness touched the hearts of all who knew her. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, and her absence will be deeply felt by everyone who had the privilege of crossing paths with her.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Monday, September 25th at 11:00 AM at Calvary Harvest Fields, 150 Harvest Fields Dr, Boalsburg, PA 16827 with Pastor Dan Nold officiating.
