Obituary of Jean Bleich Neidigh

Jean Bleich Neidigh, 88, of State College, passed away on Thursday, November 23, 2023, at Harmony of State College.

Born October 15, 1935, in Bellefonte, she was the daughter of the late Jonathan F. and Mable Louise Gilliand Bleich. On June 2, 1954, in State College, she married James Sidney Neidigh who preceded her in death on May 5, 2018.

She is survived by four children, Kathy Stocker and her husband, Gene, of State College, Jeannette Neidigh of Percival, VA, Peggy Tart and her husband, Ron, of Siler City, NC and Daniel James Neidigh and his wife, D. Lynn, of Blanchard; one sister, Jacqueline Kuosman and her husband, Al, of Colorado Springs, CO; nine grandchildren, Kelly Hascotes, Tracy Matis and her husband, Matt, Cory Stocker and his wife, Joeleen, Jamie Tabaka and her husband, Mark, Devin McKay and her husband, Mike, Amber McCormick and her husband, Dan, Jonathan McClure, Madelyn Goser and her husband, Adam and Catie Neidigh.

Jean and Jim owned Colonial Pastry Shop until 1978. Jean continued her career as a bookkeeper with Joseph Taracani and C S Myers.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.

Interment will be in Pine Hall Cemetery.
