Obituary of Joseph Michael Lambert, Jr.

Joseph Michael Lambert, Jr. was born on November 19, 1942, in Philadelphia, PA and passed away peacefully on December 4, 2023 at his home in State College, PA.

He graduated from St. Joe's Prep in 1960, Drexel University in 1965 (BS, Math), Cornell University in 1967 (MA, Math), and Purdue University in 1970 (PhD, Math). He began his career as an Assistant Professor of math at the Penn State-York campus in 1970. His final position at Penn State was Senior Associate Dean of the IST College from September 1999 until his retirement in January 2008.

Joseph is survived by his wife, Carolyn, three children; Kathleen, Karen, and Brian (Maria Izquierdo) and two grandsons, Lucas and Matias.

Services will be private for the immediate family.
