Barb and Linda, my heart goes out to you and yours with the loss of your father. He was a dear man, humble, intelligent, kind, personable, and engaging. In particular, I remember fondly, a long drive to your lake cottage one summer, just your dad and I. He talked about his college days at Bucknell, meeting your mom, his work, building the A frame cottage on the lake, boating, his beautiful daughters. And, he asked me about my life, family, school and work, listening to my replies. The miles flew by. I remember that weekend at the lake with your family, my first, a weekend filled with fun, laughter and love. Your parents built a wonderful life, a strong family full of love, talent and energy and a retreat where you could come together, reconnect, make memories. I feel fortunate to have spent time with your dad and your entire family and to have your friendship.
May only warm memories ease the pain of your loss.
With my deepest sympathy, Betsy Martini Lancaster
