Mr. Harte was my civics teacher in eighth grade and was one of the best teachers I ever had. My sister, who was also lucky to have had him as a teacher, and I shared stories this evening of how he touched our lives. We will never forget him saying, "Strange days, indeed... must peculiar, mama" and "Go away, kid, you're bothering me." He was a gifted teacher and lovely man whose impact on the world is obvious.
