All of us at the Centre County Historical Society extend our heartfelt sympathy to the family and friends of Patricia Potter. Pat, as she was fondly known, was a dedicated and beloved docent at the Centre Furnace Mansion. Her passion for history and her ability to connect with visitors, especially children and teens with learning differences, made her an invaluable member of our team. Pat was a storyteller at heart and had a knack for bringing the past to life. Her warmth and genuine interest in everyone she met will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. We are grateful for the time that Pat spent with us and the impact she had through the Historical Society.
