Carla was a special lady and it is a great loss that she is gone. She always took the time to chat when I had something to mail. Carla remembered my kids’ names and would always say something encourging or upbeat to them. I’m sure many will miss her humor and her kind heart.

So sorry to hear of Carla’s passing. I knew her Mom, graceful women, and knew Carla from both McDonalds and Weis. She knew I was a fan of the Hello Kitty character and whenever McDonalds had Hello Kitty as the happy meal trinkets she’d always save the collection for me. How nice of her to do that. I always worried about her medical battles and thought she was do much better. She often never spoke much above a whisper but always had a warm smile for me and my wife at Weis and or McDonald’s. She’ll be a great addition to God’s kingdom. See you in the next life. Charlie

Carla was an amazing light and positive person to so many in our community. She welcomed by children and family with such love and care. She graced our church community with acceptance, love and tremendous cake baking skills. She will be truly missed. Through sheer determination she lived to enjoy the time spent with her beloved grandson and light of her life and CJ of course too!
