I am just now learning of this great loss. If I could use only one word to describe Maxine, the word would be, genuine. She was a person with no pretense- a true and valuable jewel. I am so grateful to call her family. Jo Allen Swan

Bill and Alex,
My family just discovered Max’s death. We are deeply saddened and express our heartfelt sympathy. Max, Craig, and their children lived in my childhood home in Rochester. We became close friends as we would visit with other close friends in the Monroe Meadows neighborhood. Their friendship meant a lot. Max and Craig spent many weekends with my parents and a couple of other parents from Monroe Meadows at Peak & Peak. They always had great times playing bocce and other activities. Again, our thoughts, prayers, and sympathy to Bill, Alex, and the Millar Family. Jane and the MacArtney Family

I will always remember Max for her warmth and caring. Especially enjoyed our times together as part of the YMCA cardio dance group. When I first joined she went out of her way to always make me feel welcome and included in monthly lunch celebrations. She was a very strong willed and determined mentor who gave her best to everyone who knew her. Loved her smile and humor. I send hugs and prayers for comfort to the family.

I will remember Max as the epitome of a graceful competitor, who knew I was more talk on the court than skill. She was the kind of person whom you would want as a friend and colleague. She is missed.

I will always remember watching many sunsets together with Maxine from the spectacular view she had from her apartment at Harmony.. with her great sense of humor!!! She was a strong willed, independent, generous and caring soul.
And I will miss her terribly ♥️

Max was near and dear to my girls and I. She had a heart of gold and was always willing to give the shirt off her back to help anyone and everyone - especially those she loved. To know Maxine was to know true compassion and love. My family will miss her deeply.
