Upon retirement, Chris served as a starter and marshal on a local golf course in Alexandria, VA. He enjoyed watching all Penn State sports, and attending on-campus theatrical and musical performances. To him, family came first. The family will always remember the sleigh bells, red Santa bags and wide-eyed glances from his grandchildren as they heard "Santa" come through their doors at Christmas. Chris believed that it didn't matter how old one was, everyone received a toy at Christmas. His love of country and love of life were contagious. Chris was a special man who will always be remembered for his laughter, his spirit and, above all, his generosity.
