I shall never forget Barb Cochran for the welcoming love she showed me and Anjoe at church on Sundays with her very sincere hugs. And I found it wonderful that she showed the same welcoming love to the young people in the church. All of this reminded me of the reality that we are not all blessed with the same gifts by our Dear Lord God. Some play the piano, some pray, and some preach etc. etc. And then there are the Barb Cochrans who serve God in different, but very special, ways. I am saddened by the passing of this dear Child of God, and shall always remember her for her special service as a Christian.
Dick, my deepest sympathies and condolences to you and your family. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

I met Barbara through her daughter BJ, many years ago! I remember Beej, Barb and I going to the Moving Company Bible study that Sherilyn Jameson and others led. At Christmas, Barb brought me a beautiful candle holder that had Faith, Hope, Love engraved on it. I love it and still have it in my home today! I lost touch with Barb for a while but the Lord reconnected us when we would show up at the same time at St. Vincent DePaul's half price senior day! We would catch up, share what treasures we found! It didn't matter what time I got there, I would run into her! Barb, you will be greatly missed but we cherish the time we each had with you and are very thankful you are with our Risen Lord today! Dale and I send Beej and the family our love, our sympathies, our prayers and lots of love!! <3

Dianna and I thank the Lord for Barb's love for Jesus, her husband and family and for us!! Barb so manifested the truth of "we love because He first loved us" (I John 4:19). We will miss her hugs, care for us ("pastor, how are you doing?!"), her kindness ("Dianna, may I visit you?"...we knew she had a gift-in-hand for Dianna!), her smile and laughter, her questions ("pastor, I have a question"...she would say as she raised her hand during my devotional Wed nights), and so much more. We will miss Barb but look forward to seeing her again one day in our Lord and Savior's presence- "absent from the body, home with the Lord" II Corinthians 5:8. We thank the Lord for Barb Cochran- see you soon, dear sister in Christ!
