I was sorry to read of Jim's passing. I grew up in his neighborhood and was part of his unit in troop 380. He was a good friend and a good leader. My sympathy goes out to his family.

Jim was one of the earliest scouts when my Dad, Robert Moore, was the first Scoutmaster of Troop 380 in Boalsburg. As a young scout, I remember that "Kenner", as everyone called him, was one of the older boys who encouraged me and helped me learn what it meant to be a scout. He always had a great sense of humor and a wonderful way of seeing the good in everyone. I will miss his voice and his quirky sense of humor. His many years of service to the scouting movement are a testiment to the many young lives he influenced. I am lucky enough to count myself among them. Good luck and Godspeed, Kenner, I will meet you on the trail ahead.

Deb, Our thoughts and prayers are with you. I had known Jim for years and when he announced he would be in line for Council Chair of the PA Lions we had many conservations as he was two years behind me. Sue and I remember the many times we sat with you and Jim at various banquets not only in PA but around the world. We will miss him and his calls not only about Lions but railroad related questions.

To Jim’s family and Deb. I’m so sorry to read of Jim’s passing. I met him through WW. He was such a great contributor to the group and a cheerleader for all. We had some good laughs together. Such a nice man. May he rest in peace and may you find comfort in each other.
